Emily is a former Elementary Art Educator, now Homeschool mom. Her journey as a creative started at an early age and increased and presented itself in many forms through the years from photography, to Etsy shops to Plant workshops, but her art journals are her true love. From Nature Journals, Illustrative and collage journals, she's always dabbling in them each.

She has worked at private studios teaching both adult and children's workshops including children’s art camps and after school programs and a short 4 year stint at a private school teaching pre-k through 6th grade art. She resides as the Central Ohio Wild and Free (a branch of National Wild and Free Homeschool group) Nature Outing Coordinator where her love for nature and art collides. Her love for teaching and inspiring others to pursue creative adventures is the essence of her creative passions.

My philosophy on art is that everything in life is art. What you do, how you do it, the way you dress, how you love, the way you write, the way you decorate your home, how you play and dream. It is all art to me. We were all made by a creator (God) and therefore are creators ourselves. It's in us all, in some form. It IS IN YOU TOO! I am passionate about making my life creative everyday and inspiring others around me to do the same.

 I love to try new things. But some of my favorite mediums are photography, watercolor, mixed media, ceramics, outfits, accessories, home decor, gardening - PLANTS and a good splash of black ink! I am inspired by color, texture, light and nature. I believe that Jesus Christ is the great creator and the ultimate artist. I find great beauty in His creation and His love in my life.
